On the other hand, how do you know if you'll regret if you don't chase it? It's not better to not pursue things. Each and every person chases what they want at that time in their life, you won't know if you missed out or if it detracted you from something more important. In your twenties, how do you know what you will value in your sixties? Let's say you focused on your career but you later regretted because you missed spending time with your family. You wouldn't have that perspective if you had chosen the opposite. What if you chose family, how do you know you won't later regret not doing more for your career? The only way to not regret chasing things is to not chase anything, but then you'll regret that too.
I often wonder what life has in store for me. When this video was uploaded, I had a girlfriend and a stable job and I would say that I was at my happiest. All of that is gone now. Little did I know that in less than 6 months my happy life would be completely turned upside down. After a few months of drinking and being really unhealthy in an attempt to forget everything that I lost I'm finally starting to pick myself back up and to start over. I just accepted a job offer that's easily double of what I used to make, and I met someone that I really like but I'm still not ready at all to get into another relationship. I was really hoping that I don't fuck any of this up and i just so happen to stumble across this video. A year and a month after it was uploaded. Idk maybe It's a sign not to worry about things too much, to just enjoy the moment and to take things as they come. Because that's just life I guess. I can't even begin to imagine where I'll be a year from now, but I'm not too worried about it that much anymore. Maybe I'll come back to this comment and compare my life from now until then. Anyways thanks to whoever took the time to read all of this
