The MCU Timeline Fully Explained

Looper | February 8, 2026

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is getting massive. With 27 films (as of the making of this video) and a growing roster of TV shows, it’s getting harder to keep track of the world’s mightiest heroes and everyone associated with them, from gargantuan beings of infinite cosmic power to hot sauce-obsessed Russian assassins. The MCU has been going strong since 2008, but its story at this point covers thousands of years, and it can be hard to wrap your head around all the twists and turns. Looking to refresh yourself on all the MCU has offered up thus far? This is the MCU timeline, fully explained.

We goofed! Odin didn't slay Laufey in battle, just defeated him. We try to get everything right but in a video this big, a few things are bound to slip through the cracks! Thanks for keeping us on our toes!

Right now, there are people all over the world who are just like you. They're either lonely, they're missing somebody, they're depressed, they're hurt, they're scarred from the past, they're having personal issues no one knows about, they have secrets you wouldn't believe. They wish, they dream and they hope. And right now, they are sitting here reading these words, and I'm writing this for you so you don’t feel alone anymore. What really helped me start overcoming the pain and actually move toward my goals was reading Manifest the Unseen by Luna Rivers, it opened my eyes in ways I didn’t expect. Always remember, don’t be depressed about the past, don’t worry about the future, and just focus on today. ❤

So many people praised this book Manifest the Unseen by Luna Rivers that I finally had to see for myself. No regrets whatsoever this book genuinely opened my eyes. Manifestation finally makes sense, and the changes Ive experienced are incredible. It deserves all the recommendations its getting!

On a random August night, I suddenly got interested in the Marvel universe and ended up here. Even though I've watched the movies, I can't keep up with how vast this spectrum is, and with the multiverse phase, I am going nuts. This video definitely helped. Great breakdown of the timeline.

It is interesting seeing the movies that were awesome side by side with the absolutely atrocious ones that some of us (myself included) don't even remember. "The 10 rings…" huh??? Had to actually go look that up to remember that awful flick haha.

So are they paid? Does the government make them do what it wants? They apply arbitrary laws/rules to them negating the benefit to saving anyone, which bring me to my first question are they even paid to it? There is absolutely no reason, or obligation, to save anyone without payment. People in their universe not only expect to be saved, they expect it without any benefit to the individual who saves them; instead of being good the avenger might get in more trouble for the forced governmental involvement of themselves in these situations. Without pay the government enslaved these more powerful better people.
