   Why would secret knowledge be found in corrupted material? In parchment and YouTube? Jesus is a pointer to true Gnosis, which is the Father can be known inside the self by any child of his own, though direct conscious experience in the subjective, inner world. The Bridal Chamber or inner Divine union of opposites. Carl Jung completed his Red Book before the Nag Hammadi texts were discovered. He went through his own awakening to Gnosis without any of this so-called "Secret Knowledge" only available to some select elite. The truth is within, through dialogue with Thought, the ultimate conclusion of the Forefather being the First Thought; he is ultimately all thought experiencing the illusion of separation, of differentiation. Buddha is another pointer towards the exact same Gnosis or Knowing. It is known by them as Nirvana.

   Here’s just a thought that caught me.

   So some generation of us humans will evolve to the plane of our maker from which we derived from and have since been trapped on this plane.

   If we apply modern nomenclature to these concepts and do a bit of abstract for the concepts.
   Mathematicaly we have several dimensions (24+).
   Theoretically ”reality” behave very differently in each dimension some construct geometry and some deconstruct etc. The first three being geometry based 1d=line, 2d=plane, 3D=cube. The 4th begin to construct time and the 5th construct probability/events.

   So theoretically a being operating above 5 dimensions would be able to exist everywhere,everyhow, all at once. Defying time, space and alternate realities.

   With this in mind.
   Sophia falls from the ”cloud” (5d) Yahweh creates earth (3D) and cuts Sophia in to millions of pieces and spreads them across the earth, creating us. All fragmented bits of Sophia.

   So if Jesus as an eon(5d being) came to earth (3D) to teach the fragments of Sophia to become whole again and return to the cloud (5d). Since Eons (5d beings traverse time, space and realities does this mean that the eons are actually us, several generations later. Humans as transcended beings. Does this also mean that it is all just a loop, Sophia gets created and then fragmented and then reconstructed thus completing the loop. Are we the creators of us?

   Two dimwits. Jesus commanded Judas to betray him “in order that the prophecy be fulfilled” it’s literally right there in the gospel. Judas simply did as he was commanded

   I was told his name was Yehuda I'Kriot, because he was from the area of Kriot, wherever the hell that was.
   And his name was anglicised to Judas Iscariot.

   It may have been the Iqrit region.

    @41:30 surely after doing this much research on Christianity it's not still a question why Christ says "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?". It's psalm 22, he's quoting Psalm 22, the first line, word for word.

    Maybe Jesus was accepting the anointment because he proclaimed himself as king, and Judas was angry over this. Maybe Jesus said ”i will die” anticipating he will be killed for proclaiming himself as king. Maybe judas betrayed Jesus because Jesus earlier had said his kingdom was not in this world… and he thought Jesus had betrayed his word

    I'm wondering what you and Bart think about Robert Eisenman's work on this. He wrote exhaustively about James, Jesus, Judas, and other characters. It's definitely possible he was a Sicarii, since the Sicarii were a type of side-piece group to the desert communities that these folks might have been a part of.

    The real heresy is that which became institutionalized/orthodox Christianity. The original message of Jesus and the Apostles was absolutely gnostic. Those who truly know the Light, know that even the “canonical” gospels/epistles are gnostic when interpreted how they were intended to be interpreted. The Gnostics were the original Christians! The Apostle Paul refers to Satan as the god of this world (or god of this age) in 2 Corinthians 4:4. The reason evil exists in this world is because Satan is the god of this world! Look around, it should be obvious! The problem of suffering is coherently accounted for when the Scriptures are understood from the original gnostic lens of the New Testament authors 👁️

    Belief/faith is pretending to know when you don’t. Gnosis is knowing through direct experience. The whole point of Jesus is to guide humanity to gnosis of the Light. Not doctrine, not belief systems, but gnosis!

    You would think today that they would have ways of identifying ancient materials by scraping microscopic fragments off so as not to directly affect the material, whole letters, words etc, with a record of the testing method, where it was taken from and why there would be a microscopic piece missing.

    This was a very interesting conversation as I’ve never heard of this gospel before.

    I’m very curious if anyone can shed some light on whether or not C.S. Lewis agreed with some of these gnostic ideas? I just recently finished reading all of the Chronicles of Narnia with my kids so they’re top of mind. In The Voyage of the Dawn Treader there are characters who were once stars, and discussion of other people/stars/gods who have been living for a long, long, time. And in The Last Battle, the Narnia we’ve known is destroyed and they enter a new Narnia which could be thought of like heaven but is specifically described as being like a best possible version of all the things Narnia before could only be a shadow approximation of. Both of these ideas seemed to be mentioned in this video by Bart as being part of the Gnostic thinking and it made me wonder if that’s where CS Lewis got it from.

    What do you mean judas made it possible for christ to escape the body? If he just needed to die he could just have jumped off a cliff or had judas or someone kill him, or did it himself. That dosent make any sense to me, and if christ came here to inhabit Jesus body according to your perspective, was hes mission done then? Like did he finish what he set out to do, cause the way your talking about christ it seems that he really dosent care to much about this place and cant wait to be killed and go back to where he came from, so why would he even go here to expose the truth? And if it was for this second generation why didn't he come at a time where he could speak directly to them? Interesting conversation but it really dosent make alot of sense.
