So if I’m to understand that cold open sketch correctly…
This man played by Kevin, he enslaved and killed these marching band performers, hid them in various spaces in the house, and when the cop asks him why, it’s because “oo-PAH oo-PAH oo-PAH yadadaa”… is that him… mimicking the marching band music in the street he heard? I thought it was just a bunch of nonsense and that he was insane… but now I think maybe he was DRIVEN insane by the music?
Also that actual tune he sings is shockingly eerily similar to a tune I played in high school back in 2019 called “Gaelic Rhapsody” by Elliot Del Borgo. I was 2nd chair clarinet, although we would never play this one marching.

8:10 I knew a couple like this. They put on a show for outsiders but fought like dogs in private. It was such a pathetic relationship. I wasn’t at all surprised when they got divorced.

18:34 – There's a Meow sound as they pray for Bellini in silence. Even my cat gets bugged when she hears that out of nothing. And it is quite frequent.

Looking back on the cold open sketch with the serial killer; I know having the Salvation Army band coming through your neighborhood can be a little annoying, but…

1:01 Kevin Mcdonald's Performance as a deranged Psychotic killer in this sketch is riveting. A la par with that of Sir Anthony Hopkins in The Silence of the Lambs. It is just too bad that the academy does not best actor awards to television actors.
