When you say "screams past our highest orbital satellites "don't you mean,screams 'through 'our highest orbital satellites?, couldn't the magnetic field of Apophis disrupt/move a high orbital satellite out of orbit? I understand that this ,?, has probably been asked just,once in a 1000yrs (some poss.2-3thousand)event and past ones allegedly hit or dire warning so is prepared rocket meeting Apophis on it's entry and blasters would move Apophis enough so it didnt enter below highest orbital satellites?
