I think it really says something that he always seemed to be bright when you recorded him. Which really shows he believed in you from the beginning and knew people would see how proud he was of you from the very beginning. I can defiantly tell that he and you were really best friends and had a close bond.
He is so proud of you.

Earlier this morning, I had remembered a skit your father did, "Fireside Chat". I had found myself wondering why your father didn't star in any of your films. At first I told myself that you seemed to be traveling a lot, but I came to realize that likely wasn't the case. I found the video in this playlist, and thank you for that. Your father's legacy lives on in you, Joel. Just like him, you are a very funny man. Keep on juggling, just like he always knew you could.

I've been a fan of your channel for a few years now but somehow only just came across the news. I'm so sorry for your loss Joel. But at the same time, I am so envious of the relationship you had with him! It seems that he was entirely instrumental in both your absurd sense of humour and your unwavering good nature. Your unapologetic authenticity.

Thank you for recording & documenting the few segments of this guy's life that you did. No one lives forever, but that doesn't mean their memory has to die with them. Because of you & your youtube channel he can live as long as the internet through the medium of these videos, inspiring joy & humor in future dudes for years to come. He's a super funny guy & he seems to have been an all around great person. Been watching you for a few months now, but only saw the other day that your dad passed. I cried watching your video about breaking that news.
In this short time watching your channel, I’ve really come to adore your dad and the relationship you two had. Not only did I find him hilarious, he really showcased the kind of personality I admire most: so open to be himself and express without restraint. I feel, as a therapist, a big part of my work is to get people to find this way of expressing, so they can live happily and love fully. I’m sorry for your loss, and I am also happy to know you got to experience a father-son relationship most people dream of. That is forever.

This man was a legend… the world lost a bright light. Such a funny guy – but like your closing snap of this compilation said, "quality over quantity."
You may not have had not most days with him in the grand scheme of your life, but I would bet my bottom dollar that those memories will stick with you for the remainder of your days.
He would be proud of you, even though I'm sure he already was.
