the homoeroticism in renaissance art
Michelangelo’s poems, Leonardo da Vinci’s lover and Guido Reni’s obsession with creating the perfectly androgynous St. Sebastian. those things aren’t really talked about that often even though homosexuality was much more common during the renaissance than we though, and it’s clearly seen in the artwork of the time.
