Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger signed into law a bill that ends state tax exemptions for several Confederate organizations.
HB167 reverses a segregation era carve-out in the state’s tax code that has benefitted the United Daughters of the Confederacy and other pro-Confederate groups since the 1950s.

Reese if you think that's bad, SC has decided to issue new tags to everyone with the losing military uniform, some skinny man that can't hold a riffle upright, the x across his uniform and some crap about 250 year celebration – more people are returning them to get the In God We Trust tag instead of riding around being a laughing stock! It's ugly and its not cool to try and force winners to be losers with the other losers – I told the lady at DMV – I do not want that tag, you do not throw a parade for the losing team – they lost that battle regardless of the story that was spit out!

Seeing my friend Bernard Taylor who's running for Congress in Florida in that quick Cameo of the plantation burning down (he's the firefighter just chillin in his chair) made me laugh out loud 😂 He's absolutely amazing and if you live in his district you should 100% Vote for him! He truly cares about the people of Florida and wants to do all he can to make your lives better.
Thank you Reese for always keeping us on top of all the racist BS that is still happening so we can do all we can to fight against it. You and every other Black person in this Country deserve so much better. I will always do all I can to ensure you get the full respect, rights, and inclusion you all so richly deserve.

22:15 Fun fact, I was in 3rd grade in 1984 when I received a scholarship from the daughters of the confederacy. Even at 8 y.o., I knew enough to be like, "do they realize I'm Black?" It felt dirty and was NOT an honor in my mind.. Never used it 😒

#1. We are supposed to get over slavery but they want to honor the Confederacy because it's a part of history and heritage. HMMM OK🤔 Make that make sense!
#2. I am an African American woman born and raised in Mississippi. I'm a descendant of a Confederate soldier (He was a major in the army) and I still carry his last name. This has been verified through DNA and years of research. I have matched with white cousins who I have spoken with. With that being said, I wonder how they would react if an African American tried to join their organization? Not that I would ever want to join such organization. 🤢🤮
