Lindsay Wagner’s Emmy-winning super-agent shattered stereotypes about superheroes. In this countdown, we uncover 15 weird and wild facts you (probably) forgot about TV’s bionic super agent.

Okay, this one unlocked some serious memories. If you ever ran around the backyard in slow motion making the “Dun…Nun…Nun…” sound, you’re definitely our people. What was your favorite part — the Fembots, the bionic dog, or Lindsay Wagner being a total icon?

Too bad they didn’t have the hindsight to put Wonder Woman and The Bionic Woman together like DC comics did a few years ago.
Lindsay Wagner and Lynda Carter are close friends, so it would have made sense. Since WW lasted 1 season longer than the BW, it would have been cool to see them put together in 1979.

The fact that the fembots actually scared kids is ,I'm sorry, hilarious. I loved the Bionic Woman. Jamie Summers was one of my childhood crushes. I was like 12 yrs old at the time. And I thought the fembots were cheesy, not scary.

The bionic shows were Sci-Fi shows which made them so special and unique. These and The Incredible Hulk were perhaps the most amazing produced shows in the 70’s. They were ahead of their time, super scary at times and gave us all memorable nightmares, and we couldn’t get enough we loved it and ate it all up!!

I have a lot of new hardware (rods & screws) in my left arm & leg. I get bionic woman jokes now. I am in PT now and slowly getting my mobility back. I think I will start making the Tatatatatata sounds when I lift something.

    Oh yeah… Fembots!!!!

I thought that the fembots were ridiculous when I was a kid in the 70s, but the Oscar bot was scary.

I liked the Bionic Woman but I gradually lost interest when Steve and Jaime's relationship did not develop.

Max was a good addition at first, but he somehow understood English after being cooped up for 4 years, yah right!

The 3 post TV show movies did not make much sense. A son was brought in for Steve when it was said in the TV shows that Steve had never been married before. Then his son was never seen again after the first movie, not even at Steve and Jaime's wedding. The wedding took way too many years to happen.

The fact I have always loved is that Lindsay Wagner's contract with Universal was done. The outcry to bring back Jaime was so huge, they knew they had to get her back. She took full advantage in negotiating a new contract, and was said at the time to have, "screwed the Black Tower", which is what the Universal Studios building was called. Good for her!! 😊

What a woman. I thought she was awesome back then at 7 years old and I think so to this day, watching this. She made her character so sympathetic and cool. She was nice, actually just nice to people. Wagners beautiful face/hair were absolutely 70's-style iconic! So comfortable in herself, what a great choice during an important time for women socially. Dignified and elegant, but warm. Damn, seeing this now as an adult and remembering the show, she definitely deserved any awards she got!
