I follow Tesla closely and there’s no doubt that their system will dominate. They are taking a very measured cautious approach while perfecting the system. Their $30,000 self driving Robo taxi that operates on vision only, just like humans is already better than human drivers and it’s getting better daily. It can drive on any road without being Geo fenced. Waymo, other than being a really tacky looking vehicle cost $150,000 and can only drive in a Geo fenced area. That is a very small part of the world. The Tesla cyber cab rides will be considerably cheaper than the Waymo. Waymo is nowhere near being profitable and it might be a decade before it turns a profit. All I can say is let’s wait and see.

Tesla FSD is not reading and understanding signs other than STOP. Its sad at version v14. It drives very well but ignoring traffic laws and signs and also potholes.

Sooooo impressed and love Waymo! If I could subscribe Waymo at a cost of leasing a car, I am completely in! Take my money.
