Meet Strawberry Fuzz, the Venice Beach upstarts redefining punk-infused surf garage rock. The band kicked off in 2020, born from the creative collision of producer/guitarist Alex Arias and vocalist Colby Rodgers. The duo spent countless hours crafting their sound in Alex’s Mar Vista studio, laying the groundwork for a musical revolution. Their breakthrough moment came when they were invited to play a house show in Venice Beach, leading to the formation of their lineup with guitar shredder Kris Miller, bassist Dash Dupuy, and drummer Andy Warren.
The road so far has been smoother than a well-oiled riff. Strawberry Fuzz’s chemistry is undeniable—they’re more than bandmates; they’re family. Their infectious energy has fueled a rapid rise, with each show drawing bigger crowds and their tracks gaining traction nationwide. They made waves in the LA music scene by selling out the iconic Troubadour within just two years of their debut.

Deez dudez effen wail! Seent them open up for Jakobs Castle (Sublime Jr.) in Berk, CA at the Cornerstone, and they stole the show. Hi en, killer stage prez, and dressed in dope Fuzz County Jail matching jumpsuits. The lead singer, Colby, was moshing in the crowd after their set. Juiced him up after the show and he was hyped we hollered. Need to peep their touring schedule, big Fuzz fan. Don't know how they contained themselves in the van, but well done.
