Slipknot Just SHARED A Huge Studio Update
Slipknot are back in the studio recording their eighth album, and Sid Wilson isn’t on it.
Jim Root posted about the sessions on Instagram on September 1, tagged tracking and new record, just over two weeks after the band’s deleted August 14 statement cut ties with Sid Wilson. It’s the first Slipknot album since The End, So Far, the first with drummer Eloy Casagrande, produced by Faith No More’s Matt Wallace, and the first without a Roadrunner deal.

You have to read between the lines on their post. By saying "they will no longer be associated with Sid Wilson" it kind of sounds like something he did that no one is proud of or wants their name tied to.

After the song I just heard,(Arsenal)which I’m still thinking about suck starting a twelve gauge to make the sounds stop!!! Sid needs to go find a new, hungry band. I love Slipknot, they just shoved a pep rally song with generic record scratching and guitar riffs up my ass dry. If any ever says “Let’s go “ to me ever again I’m going to prison. Absolutely pitiful!!!
