I'm a little bit of EVERY one of these servers..not sure if that's good or bad but we all play a role as servers.
I once moved over 3,000 miles away to Tampa, worked in an AWESOME seafood establishment for 1 week,the GM had a contest @ lunch..$25 gift certificate for the server who sold the most specials. I had 7 tables @ lunch w/ a total of 16 guests.
Sold 14 specials. Within 30 days I was a certified corporate trainer, traveled back & fourth through 8 states in the south, opening up new restaurants while training the waitstaff & residing there for weeks/months at a time.
AWESOME job, so many perks, and travel! I was definitely a Brad that day lol😂
I miss it. Incredibly hard work but I would do it again 😊
