    As always, A perfect video. I think I finally figured out why boomers (i'm one) have gotten so rude. We were sold this "endless youth" myth, as well as the fiction that we would/could change the world. Both were proved so wrong. So, we are continually pissed at the world that didn't live up to our (hopelessly false) expectations. [In "hillbilly"] Watchy'all think?

    If it was a customer I knew from experience if they get angry easily I’d talk to them like a child about to throw a tantrum. Like slowly and saying “okay?” At the end of every sentence

    Terry's "haha I'm southern 🙄😒 anyway" when they tease about his accent is SUCH a mood. Genuinely how it feels half the time, can't even say y'all without having one person start to say something

    For the change, if you share tips, a good way is bringing the receipt in an ashtray with the change over it, then collect the ashtray when they leave.

    As weird as it seems this was extensively studied. And it doesn't matter. They took the top 10 things managers thought was important but workers thought was dumb or petty and tried both ways on all of them. Literally on all of them the majority didn't care or even notice. Of those who did most were managers at other similar businesses or complained no matter what. Pretty much as long as you aren't obnoxiously rude and the food comes out most didn't even notice how the wait staff talked to them. Same with everything. Cashier having a chair or stool to sit on while at register, managers no matter what business said it looked 'unprofessional' but regular customers either didn't notice or gave praise to the idea.

    0:58 while I think it’s completely ridiculous you have to be reprimanded and or trained on how to talk to customers in such a specific way…

    I’ve worked retail… I know for a fact that every 5 customers is 100% that absolute asshole who will take a single word you use the wrong way and get you blamed for it.

    That there’s more idiots in the world than good, decent, and intelligent people…

    I've referred to you as a male Meryl Streep.
    I think I'm going to start comparing you to James McAvoy or Kevin Bacon. Or even Jim Henson. Because even the people who are interacting with Muppets and can see the strings, Muppeteers, etc respond to the Muppet not the person(s) operating it. Your characters are your Muppets. We KNOW it's you, but we SEE Terry, Nichole, Poppy, Pickles etc.
