Really enjoyed this interview. Thanks Neal. And for Sarah – don't worry about being too weird. Weird's good. Think of Stephen Wright, blathering on about weird incongruous ideas, in that dull drone of his. It was brilliant. Strange, different and inexplicable at times. He also wrote a great book, recently "Harold", very Joycean. Perhaps a break for you – to write a bizzare and strange book might be the thing to get out of yourself. His book was good and literature needs some high weirdness now. Also too – you should try some serious acting. I find commedians make the best dramatic actors too, and you're good. Very good, so – a book, a serious movie – something strange and bizarre. You'd do great there as well. All the best.

Jesus Christ, even with YouTube premium the commercials are so out of control. I just stopped watching.

Wow, what a waste of an episode that could’ve been amazing

50 years ago, I was a confused high school theatre kid who was winning state-wide awards for my acting skills in theatre arts competitions. My acting teacher told me I had the best dead-pan comedy skills he'd ever seen. I feel like if I had met this version of Sarah back then, I would have stayed on that path, rather than do a tour in the military and then becoming a computer programmer after teaching myself how to do it. If this sounded like a very odd thing to say, it only corroborates how perfect a match it would have been. 😁 Also, as someone with severe ADHD, when she says "time means something very different to me", we can related. Most ADHD'ers suffer from Time Blindness.

Does partner care exist? I'd like the type of relationship where we can help each other with this stuff. It's supposed to be a challenge. But it can't break up the couple working in it.

“You look like you’re not trying to compete with hot women” jeez Neil 😂, I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say that probably no woman would be happy to hear that they look like Phyllis Diller 🤣

I love her on SNL and on this pod she was awesome! But her special is INSANE! It's a mix of sketch and stand up. With an extreme gross out factor! She's like a mix of very earlyHowie Mandel, mixed with Emo Phillips, and then add some Carrot Top and Gallagher!

David Lynch is anything but random imagery, I'm surprised on that take from Neal. There's obvious references there, even if Lynch didn't know what he was referencing when he made it. You can see it clearly in most of his work. Also, tons of Lynch is incredibly ethereal rather than spooky.
