interesting topic. I think in this field one has to attune oneself to the highest level of situation management. One thing is assessment – it sucks. And another thing is to react to the situation. Reaction works only in a highly structured environment like employer-employee, team, cooperative work, etc. In creative industry, regardless of the official framework, everybody is a contractor. And something will sooner or later overlap whether it's schedules or personal idiosyncrasies. You either except it and give yourself a round of applause for being flexible or make a note for future work with that contractor.

If someone came on my pod and acted this disrespectfully, despite any situation that led to it, I'd shut off the mics, the cameras, and would have told him to GTFO. End of acquaintanceship. Donezo.

49:00 Ehhh… That’s a partial truth. I don’t think Jordan & her mom realize how harsh their judgements come off. It doesn’t seem as connecting as she’s describing it herešŸ¤”šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£ It comes off more as ā€œYou’re wrong & broken & here’s whyā€

I fucking love the way you read ads, Jordan. It's the most real shit. You don't have to fuck the product on screen to advertise it; just reading as fast as possible while never looking at the camera is good enough. I know I sound sarcastic but this is actually inspiring. This is the only way I could do it, too. Faking enthusiasm makes me want to escape from my skin like I'm wearing an Edgar suit.

30:40 Nikki Glaser said the same thing about when she was in high school & when she went anorexic, she got a ton of attention from boys & just kept not eating

I like Jordan but cancelled my subscription because of R word usage. Seems like an offensive slur that is super easy to avoid. Too bad.

no offense jordan, i love ya, but i gotta side with neal re: missing his pod—you told him 10 minutes before that you couldn't make it and also weren't even in the same city? šŸ¤”

Am I the only one suuuuuper uncomfortable in the first 5 minutes of the podcast? šŸ˜……. Sidenote, I was listening to Sam Harris the other day and he said he totally fan girled on Jordan when she and her mom came to his live show.

24:10 I know exactly what Jordan’s talking about with the coke convos. Sometimes there are actual gems in there, but it is mostly just masturbatory agreeable ideas with each otheršŸ˜‚šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚
