arriving early to a dinner in my country is considered incredibly disrespectful to the host. arriving exactly on time little less disrespectful. it is polite to come roughly 10 to 15 minutes later to allow the host to get last few things in order. class, business meeting, work that's fine, but if you are meeting a friend and you arrive early and text them "I am here"- again, disrespectful. you are now making them late when they weren't. these things are more cultural than people realise. there is no universal rule.

When was this filmed?? I ask bc she and Gabby broke up, their perfect life… Over! Seriously, I, like Jordan, cannot wrap my mind around this level of confidence, a part of me finds it admirable but so far from any reality I'm a part of. Shes essentially a white man in her body- very that, wake up "knowing" they're the best that's been and always will be with not a second thought. So that's kinda cool but damn. Props to Jordan for handling this level of whatever it is so well!!

Magically thinking you're even ok at what you do because a short list of commercially sucsessful middle of the road comedians compare you to other middle of the road comedians is wild.
I watched her special after this. It was slightly less than mediocre. Robby continously inviting comparisons between herself and dave chapel is not projecting the disarmingly authentic awareness of her own abilities she seems to think it is.
Jordan called it, confidently tell yourself you're excellent and you'll churn out garbage. If Robby was funnier and had better timing she might one day be able to churn out garbage.

Robby's special sucked but John Mulaney a couple months ago said her name in an interview so I checked it out. It was one of the worst specials I've ever watched. 😂😂😂
P.S. That's probably why her special got a boost late. Because somone good plugged her special. Also she's married to a famous person, so people are curious. It wasn't good.

Jordan seems like she is effortlessly funny. She can just crank it out with crowd work that is funnier than most written sets. I find that more impressive than a once a year special that is supposed to be one of the best.
