The best scene in the movie by far is when Mahoney pranks the Commodore by placing a hooker underneath the leg turn during a lecture. Sidenote: Mahoney was underneath there with her. that means he was cheeked to cheek with her while she was blowing the old man. Afterwards, he pops out his head and winkeds at him… Hilarious.

I’m so freaking old I saw this in theaters, back in the day when a 12 year old could get into a rated R movie with his 13 year old brother with no identification, with 10 bucks, pay for tickets, get popcorn, sodas, and candy, and still have a few bucks left over.

Supposedly Steve Guttenberg and Tom Hanks where up for a lot of the same roles at this point in time and this role in Police Academy was intended for Hanks but he passed on it for a different role much like Guttenberg passed on the lead role in Big.
