I have so much respect for Paul Dano as a fellow cinephile. He knows his film

And I love Carrry Mulligan as well. I remember watching Steve McQueens Shame and first starting recognizing Mulligan in that role

I never thought that Paul was going to play the Riddler in The Batman movie, but he amazed me as much as Pattinson's Batman. However, Jim Carrey had mixed thoughts on Dano's Riddler when he saw The Batman because it was a dark version. Frankly, it's normal debating about who's the best Riddler because, they're two different versions of one single character. Moreover, I'm not a fan of Carey, but her performance amazed everyone in the film SHAME, she must've won an Oscar with her co-star "Michael Fassbender.

Paul Dano talking about doing genre fiction is such a mean tease. I can just imagine him reuniting with Denis Villeneuve for a great scifi film.
