If Ai destroys people’e jobs who’s gonna pay mortgages for homes and the taxes on the lack of income of all the unemployed people that we need to pay down all the US and worldwide debt?

Even with all the billions he's got up his ass, sam altman doesn't know not to wear brown shoes with a black suit. The rich are so ignorant that if someone bashed their heads open against the corner of a brick, nothing useful or worthy would pour out

I have to argue for OpenAI for once. Amazing I know. However, as AI becomes more integrated into programs, there may be a reason to have AI aligned in an infrastructure spending loop. This is due to the fact that it is incredibly expensive to maintain data centers, but it is also difficult to run a local model on your local machine, and do anything else gpu dependent. This means that we would have to connect to online models. That would cost literally thousand upon thousands of tokens per year per person minimum just for upkeep, let alone upgrades to data centers and code base. Throw on top of that the fact that online models are extremely better at almost everything, including interacting with local programs on your pc, and you have a reason to consider it as infrastructure.

This is all a scam! FOLLOW THE MONEY!! At the end it will be shown that trump personally has and will earn many billions of dollars – for himself and for his family / friends from this scheme. The most-corrupt president in the history of the united states is a conman. Follow the money!

I still haven't recieved my DOGE check, nor my Tariff dividend check. Yet, I am suppost to believe I we are going to receive a payout from AI companies to those whom are unemployed.

The DOJ is already asking the courts to dismiss the lawsuit against musk and X AI about their air quality pollution in tennesse. The DOJ is arguing that Grok is somehow a national security asset and that only the government of the US should have action over when the air quality act is enforced. Its already happening

I love it(?) when people who don't pay taxes champion the idea of UBI.
The main difference I see between Altman and Sanders's take on a wealth fund is that Sanders's idea forces these companies to actually surrender significant ownership. I think that would be great, but I'm also one of those weirdos who think utilities, telecommunications, and power generation/distribution should all be taxpayer owned.

Politicians: "Fear when the Government is run by Artificial Intelligence."
Me: "well wouldn't that be better than currently where it's run by no intelligence?"

If the government pays for free AI access, then all the taxpayers pay for it, so the taxpayers pay full price for it, or even more! And then OpenAI can freely shittify the service, removing computing resources! A real fucking communist trick!

No, of the government shouldn't be taking a cut in AI. First, this would give control of these companies to Republicans like Trump and allow them to untold damage to an already enshittified internet that we already have. Second, the government should be shutting down AI data centers. They are unnecessary and are just serving as a wealth transfer of money from average citizens to a few technofascists.

This current government shouldn’t take a stake in anything, it’s too corrupt. Our government is too goddamn corrupt. We have to deal with all this corruption first.

At least he is better then Elon who say he never give any of his money away
I sure the rest of us will be able to live the good live from this money, once it trickle down to us, NOT
