The only thing that drags me out of bed in my advanced age is knowing there are cats outside needing to be fed. Bit of a conundrum for a night owl.
The only thing I can think of that gives my life any meaning having lived most of mine is the endless curiosity; wanting to know how everything and everyone works. Sort of a universe navel gaze.

God is alive. God is love Christians are not secondhand citizens we are to love our brothers and sisters not to judge them. We are to take care of the animals, the forest the young, the old and the weak. Forgiveness is a must and love and charity is what it’s all about. Our purposes to be Christlike, not because of fear because of our love of our Father God.😊❤

to me a 41y male no friends or prospect of finding love. This world seems to be more into materialism and self satisfaction, then substance and good values. so i have recently decided that i will leave society behind and take my chances against the wild nature alone by my self 3 months from now. already got the plane ticket ready.
i would rather actually be alone in the wild then being surrounded and still alone

Spent 1.5 hours watching a video about how nothing matters, took notes, and am now typing a comment about it. Sisyphus and I are basically the same person, except his boulder is a rock, and mine is a YouTube watch history that somehow keeps getting longer. The real nihilist move would have been to close the tab at 30 seconds. The fact that we're all here in the comments means Camus already won.

TBH, nihilism feels like the most logical conclusion to the realization that living beings on Earth are insignificant, inconsequential specs of dust in a vast, violent, and indifferent universe where death, destruction, and rebirth are in constant tension, and awakening to the fact that nothing we do or say today will matter or be remembered in 100 years.
