Nataanii Means Carries Family Legacy Through Music and Activism
Musician and activist Nataani Means is using hip hop to give Indigenous youth a powerful outlet for self-expression, running songwriting and recording workshops across Turtle Island. “We come from beauty, we come from strength, and that’s what the world needs to know,” says Means, who is carrying on a family legacy of fighting for Indigenous people through art, education and storytelling.
