On my second day of NAMM, I roved between IK’s portable synth offerings, Arturia’s Microfreak, some lovely module makers, GFI’s new Synesthesia pedal, and Ashun Sound Machine’s amazing Hydrasynth. I am now done with NAMM, thank you.

hey benn idk if you even check the comments but bitwig studio has a new sound content update with a whole shitload of reverb presets in it. like almost too many reverb presets. it's so much, I've been exploring these fx presets for literally 2 hours now and I've only gotten halfway through all the new content.
I know you love reverb, so I thought I should let you know

NAMM had been a bucket list item for me so hopefully they fix the things that pissed you off. I know with my psychology I would just find a corner to hide in the whole conference the way it is now.

Hi Benn its refreshing to see content that is warts and all. up until Dec19 I ran a music shop here in the UK and NAMM kept wanting me to come over I'm so glad I didn't, the queues would really pi** me off – A lot of the UK MI shows seem to have completly disappered over the last few years – Synthfest is a great synthersiser show but its nice and small by comparison – are you coming over to Superbooth? cheers Ian

You are so right about the environment this year, Benn. I was appalled at the disorganization and the mess. The constant noise and the chaos. I decided not to go back on Saturday as well. You did your best, and that’s more than enough. I’m shocked they screwed it up this bad for media, too. See you tonight.

New VAD drums are cool … good vid, thanks. I remember when Gibson snubbed NAMM, and it was a big deal … perhaps symptomatic of the pr bless they were clearly having internally at the time, but also of the way NAMM works (or more to the point, doesn't, for manufacturers … ?!)
