Musicians We’ve Lost in 2026 (January to June) … I didn’t know we’d lost these guys!

Classic Album Review | July 1, 2026

Every year more music legends leave us – leave us with their legacy and great music – depleting the music world even further. This video is a tribute to those we have lost in 2026 so far – January to June. May their soul rest in eternal peace.

Honorable mention goes to legendary and record executive Clive Davis who passed away at age 94 the same week as Walter Parazaider of Chicago and Tom Hensley, a former pianist for Neil Diamond .

Being Australian, Rob Hirst's passing was a shock, he was arguably the country's best, if not most ferocious drummer and was essential to the manic and frenetic power of Midnight Oil performances.

Well, my friend it has to be Tommie DeCarlo, from Boston. Me, Tommie, and his brother Phil all attended the same high school. I graduated with Tommie's older brother Phil…..It was a shock to see he past…..😎✌️😞

David Brigati is not to be confused with his younger brother Eddie Brigati, who was one of the lead singers of the Rascals. David was mainly a backup singer.

There is an astonishing clip on Youtube of David Clayton Thomas appearing on Tom Jones American TV show in about 1970. It's turns into a virtual sing -off between two mesmerising vocal talents !
