Music Articulation: Explained!

92.9 The Torch | February 8, 2025

In this music lesson, we explore legato, staccato and pizzicato – which are 3 forms of articulation commonly used in music. Learning about articulation and how to apply them to your playing is one of the most important skills to take your playing to the next level. It can help with your musical expression and can give more emotion to your playing.

Although I’m using the guitar as an example, the musical ideas can be applied to all instruments and all styles of music.
