Cirith Ungol with the awesome Michael Whelan Elric art, again. Sounds great as well. A band that knows sometimes only releasing an album when you know it's good, rather than just to release a new album for the sake of a new album.
Cold? Low single digits (centigrade) and tonight has a freezing chill fog. Very Halloween appropriate. My Nemesis the Warlock hoodie kept me toastie warm.

I am a Halloween Baby, I wish Al well, I met AL when I was young at the Exit nightclub, playing his original version of Everyday is Halloween. Happy Halloween to all. Happy retirement Uncle AL.

We sure are living in crazy times when the new Nickelback album is better than the new Queens Of The Stone Age album.

I never heard of Darkest Hour before a few days ago, and I’m loving TF out of the new record. Already listened several times through.

Also, you forgot to mentioned that it was Master Roshi which took him 50 years to create the Kamehameha skill while Goku was ability to copy his skill because Goku is a Sayian while Master Roshi is a super human through working hard for fifty years.

Happy Halloween Jon and fellow metalheads! Enjoy the day. As usual, I've found at least 2 albums I knew nothing about that I will listen to thanks to this segment. Thanks as always!!

Once a year, on Halloweens night, I go back and spin my King Diamond "Abigail" LP (first pressing 1987) – that's how I celebrate Halloween!

Looking forward to checking out several of these picks! I'd like to recommend the new Vigil album for some thrashy fun and the new Genital Shame album for what I think is a unique spin on modern black metal.

I wasn't that impressed by the Ministry album. It seemed a little generic? It might grow on me if I listen to it a few times, but I still think their best music was back in the 90s.

Sarcator has my vote for the week. What a fun and unexpected album! Very unique compared with a lot of what is being released
