Typical Australian celebrity – charismatic, down to earth and very likable.

No kangaroos in major cities?!? I've seen a 'roo hopping down North East Road, right in front of Tea Tree Plaza. I also saw a deceased 'roo on Golden Grove Road, just past the intersection with North East Road, though I didn't see the remains of the car that hit it. I imagine the car had already been towed at that point – it certainly wasn't driven away.
Kangaroos outnumber humans in Australia almost 2 to 1

The American company that trademarked the word "Ugg" is (ironically) Australian Ugg. Ugg isn't a trademark – it's just the name of the type of boot. Trademarking it would be like me trademarking the word "house" and then suing all the builders

I feel like that was a wallaby not a kangaroo.

I hate how they have to do this with every Australian actor when they make it in the big screen.

Pavlova is Australian! It was first printed in a 1922 Australian cook book (Meringue covered in whipped cream and fruit) Those dirty kiwis version was a Sorbet ice cream thing that wasn’t a Meringue in any sort of way.

Uggs are as Australian as Vegemite and kangaroos.

Maybe I am alone in this but the lawn bowls I had around my life were always something just old people played, like the youngest people playing I can remember were my dad’s friends when he was still in his 50’s and his friends were slightly older than him. Which is why it’s extra weird that our primary school had a lawn bowls place connected right by it (just look up Nuriootpa Primary School in a maps app and you should see what I am talking about). Also I don’t think I’ve even heard someone call it bowlo before today tbh.
