I dont think she can take off the wings, it appears when he asked her to take them off she pretended they were removable because that guy didn't want people to know she's really a bird girl with wings. Her line delivery was weird though.
I had a tenor saxophone teacher who was a professional musician and he got tied up in the mob from doing shows in various big cities.. those jazz musicians are wild!!!😂
Usually when I watch a Jaime French review I really want to go and watch the film afterwards. I really didn't want to watch Passion Play after watching this review. Not because of Jaime, but because the film just looks so damn bad!!!!

I feel like the take away is Megan Fox wanted to be a superhero and fly but, “being a bird woman was the only option left.” And so now I’m left wondering if the writers of Rick and Morty are apart of this and letting us know Bird Person is actually Megan Fox in disguise lol
21:09 Aussie here, this trumpet sounds like The Minute of Silence, which I believe is performed on a bugle horn (I could be wrong, it’s too late at night for me to fact check myself) to honour the veterans in Australia. Not sure if the weird trumpet was on purpose or not but made me think of it. It almost matches it perfectly!
I’m binging these and will be bummed if there’s an episode without the “what does a horseshoe do” quote lol it’s in every one I’ve watched without fail

I imagine part of the "ick" factor regarding the sex scene has to do with the fact that Rourke is literally almost twice Foxs age. I can only imagine that accounts for the grimmace on her face during that scene too 😂
I think they were going for it being more of a purgatory than a dream. It was a second chance for him to redeem himself. He overcomes his greed and shelfishness to save her and, therefore; he is saved. Execution was a bit rough though.
A laugh riot. I originally saw the name Megan Fox and thought it was Megan Kelly from fox. I have heard the name Megan Fox, but have never seen her in anything. Why is she so famous? Thanks for the Belly laughs. Quick edit because I always comment half way between a video, I did see the original Transforners and was not impressed.
Sadly the disparity between the characters ages is a total deal breaker. Micky Rourke makes my flesh crawl, he looks like he smells of stale alcohol, cigarettes and out of date rancid cologne. He really cannot act at all. This could have been an “okay” indie movie with the right actor, poor Megan Fox having him paw her with his grimy looking hands 😮

So seriously, having spent most of my adult career in healthcare, the thought of someone calling and saying "Hey I think my wife might be there" followed by "What is she there for?" and having the nurse just tell him all the details makes me deeply uncomfortable. And it's funny to me that of all the things in this movie, THAT'S the part that causes me distress. 😂
I think the only thing that could've made this movie ok was if she flew off the roof all by herself to go find people not trying to exploit her. Lol Also Mickey Rourke just grosses me out. The idea was good but the final product was not. It could've been a good movie.
Mickey kind of makes me sad since The Wrestler and when he lost his wah-wah. He loved that little dog. Why dis movie ever happen? Can't Megan stay home and play with one of her kids? Total waste of screen time. 😵💫
