Mass stabbing at Michigan Walmart: 11 victims chosen at random, suspect arrested
At least 11 people were taken to the Munson Medical Center in Traverse City after a stabbing at Walmart, according to the Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office.
Munson Healthcare released conditions of the patients as of 8:30 p.m. Saturday stating that 5 of the victims are in serious condition and 6 are in critical condition.
Law enforcement was called to Walmart at 4:43 p.m. Saturday, with deputies arriving within 3 minutes of the call.
The weapon involved appears to be a ‘folding knife’, according to officials.
A 42-year-old man was arrested for the violence inflicted on others. He was uninjured according to law enforcement.
Initial assessments of the incident lead law enforcement to believe he chose his victims at random.

They had to have more than 50 people in that place. They could've easily overpowered him. But everyone was scared…fear is a powerful thing. Imagine if some terrorist group do this at random places at the same time. Everyone should always have something to protect themselves. Pepper spray or a pocket knife would do. Look at the damage this dude did. They all could've pulled out something to protect themselves.
