Linkin Park’s New Drummer Colin Brittain Plays The Entire “From Zero” Album

Drumeo | March 19, 2026

Colin Brittain, drummer for Linkin Park, is here at Drumeo to break down the band’s newest album: ‘From Zero’.

After officially joining the band in 2024, Colin helped shape the sound of the record and now performs every song from the deluxe version of the album, front to back, sharing the grooves, fills, electronics, and production ideas behind tracks like “The Emptiness Machine,” “Heavy Is The Crown,” “Overflow,” and “Two Faced.”

Along the way, he talks about how he first connected with the band, the drum kit and sounds used on the album, and what it’s been like stepping into his role in the band. Colin also shares insights into the band’s studio dynamic, how electronics and samples were used across the album, and how his production background influences his drumming.

Man emptiness machine is such a freaking banger. I don’t listen to much post-Meteora Linkin Park but every time that song comes around I fall in love with it all over again

Colin is a fine drummer but this album is just so bland. The guitar riffs are so weak, nothing is really catching me by surprise. It's just kind of boring. 🤷‍♂️

Props to him as well as the new singer. He's genuinely a super clean drummer… But honestly, Im not a fan if his drum parts or the newer songs. Seems as though im one of the few people that hold that view, but everyone likes something different.

LinkinPark is my favorite band off all time. But I'm not a drummer unfortunately.😂 Loved to watch Colin play and explain all this stuff❤❤. Thanks drumeo. And ofcourse, thanks LinkinPark for getting me through life.

Linkin Park’s NEW drummer? From Zero was released 16 months ago.
    Btw, I'm selling a new PS4 that I've had since 2013, if you're interested.

Linkin park is my favorite band of all time. Always will be. Listened to every song hundreds of times. Finally got to see them live in Philly last year. Best experience I’ve ever had. Wish i could’ve seen Chester. But seeing them after all these years brought tears to my eyes. Thank you Colin, thank you Linkin Park.
