Henry Winkler also met John and Julian ( Cynthia and May) on the set of Happy Days.
John was at Carter's inauguration.
Weird Davy Jones didn't know the Beatles since they were famous in England a year before the Sullivan show.

What a GREAT film! Big thumbs up +1
I was 7 years old in '64 when my family got our first stereo. We bought every album as they came out and I (as you) grew up with their music, literally. How lucky were we!? Thank you for this (once again) GREAT film! Fantastic!

Our zoo wasn't very busy in winter so we would do promotions for big sport shows in the midwest. We would set up a small exhibit of, usually, reptiles, and do local tv promos with animals for the shows. Part of the nightly course of the sports, travel, fishing, RV shows was a nightly stage show, with an emcee, and some of the hunting or fishing guides would come on stage for a minute, mention their talks, then next I would get called up, usually with a boa constrictor, to mention us. Then a musical guest would perform. I met many one time hit makers over that decade of winters. Little Jimmy Dickens, Johnny Tillotson, The Vogues, Tommy Cash (Johnny's brother) and one year it was Tommy Roe. Tommy toured with the Beatles back in March of 1963. After the show each night, all of us "Talent" would get together down the street from the hotel we all stayed in and have a late night bite to eat and a couple of drinks. I heard a few stories about the Beatles those nights when the beer or wine started to take effect. I lost my dad in an accident in 1980 when I was 9 and in my grief, I turned to the Beatles. A year later, mom took me to see Beatlemania in concert, and made me join school band. Now I play piano, guitars, bass, harmonicas, saxophone and trumpet. 9 months after my dad died, we lost John and that hit me almost as hard. The Beatles practically raised me with their overall vibe and theme, each song became it's own genre to me. Every time I listen to an album, that one is my favorite. I listen to another one tomorrow, then it becomes my favorite. (Other than Yellow Sub, and …..Sgt peppers. my least favs)

Nearly 80 years old and it all feels like yesterday. Best time to be young in the UK and the oldies saying, Oh they won't last! Thank you so much for this unique look back.

Always interesting to hear how some stars in their own rights have been influenced by the Fab Four. At 74 I recall Love Me Do on the radio and the songs kept coming after that. No one could have imagined this group would still be influential 60 odd years in the future. What a ride it’s been. Thanks for doing this.😊🎸

This is captivating, hearing the famous AND ordinary people tell of their encounters with the group in person. I mean, John even did a weather forecast for Philadelphia PA??? Imagine you are at home watching local weather and then HE pops up! 😮😄👍
