If you’re actually from LOS ANGELES. You’re an Angels fan. Not a team from the east coast that moved to LA and acts they’re from there. Even more embarrassing to be a “Latino” and support the dodgers after what they did.

    Remember the Chavez Ravine ❤

I like when I watch one of these videos with a thumbnail and a title that generally prepares me for what I am gonna see. Then I look at the comments and they're talking about a much more in-depth look at displacement of minorities in California 😂 one of my favorite parts of C5 is getting more than you think you're gonna get.

The first part of the video is good history. Sports fans gone wild. But c'mon. Los Doyers won the last game of the season in freaking Texas. The guy at 5:42 is decently serious. I commend him for boycotting the stadium. And everything else is sad half truths. The school was not on third base. It was way across the parking lot. And it stood till about 1968 like a ghost haunting every home game. That alone is condemnation enough of the historical amnesia brought about by Major League Baseball. Remains of any graveyard would have made the papers. The school was demolished. It wasn't buried. You can see the pictures at the UCSB aerial archive site. The stadium itself was sited over the old brick works which itself was buried – by the earth excavated from Fort Moore Hill for the Hollywood Freeway! I commend Vincent Montalvo for the one paragraph in the Laist article. My family did not talk about what happened. It was a bad memory. And you can see the trauma of the displacement on Vincent's mother's face. But ButB does not serve their cause well.

If you’re family hasn’t been effected by something like this it’s because yall haven’t been here long enough. Toll roads, stadiums, campuses. All for what
