Saw them on 1979 when I was 7. Had all LPs but never bought a record after Unmasked. Went to the Reunion show at MSG Saturday night in 1996. I distinctly recall the shock and awe of seeing them. But it was 4 songs in Ace hit the high note of the Dr Love solo, and I thought, "THIS is KISS".

What dimwit allowed Ace anywhere near stairs after his recent fall ? Geeez , thats a total no-no , the people around Ace are 100% Dimwits . I'm specialized in a falls , i work at a balance clinic that helps people who have experienced falls or have balance problems .

One of my favorite Ace Frehley interview responses:(backstage 1975, ALIVE! tour, London, England, Ace putting on stage make-up ….

(Interviewer):"So did you play in bars when you were younger?"
(Ace):"Oh, sure..used to play in bars, in clubs, at parties, you do all that when youre younger…in fact I still do sometimes, come off the road with KISS, get home, call up some friends and go to a bar and jam! No one knows what I look like without makeup, so the people at the bar don't even know it's me!!!"(laughs crazy)♥️🪐🎶

I was late to the party on KISS. Im forty now. Growing up i actually could never get into KISS. I have always listened to classic rock but it was just KISS i struggled with. Then about twenty years ago now i listened to Love Gun start to finish and it was like the light bulb came on. I instantly fell in love with them. Now they are one of my all time favorite bands and i listen to them multiple times a day. Loosing Ace is a hard pill to swallow. Loosing Ozzy and Ace in the same year seems unreal.
