…Out of most celebrity deaths, this is the one that will probably hit me the hardest. She's just such a national treasure. The true Queen of Genovia.

The entire royal family need to step down at this point and just hand it all over to Julie Andrews. She is the epitome of class, regality and beauty (inside and out).

This woman is a national (British) treasure. I had the opportunity to meet her in a rather odd place – the payroll office on the 5th floor at the Disney Channel building in Burbank. There she was, sitting in the lobby. I addressed her with great surprise. "Dame Julie!" She corrected me. "Just Julie."
We talked for a bit. I honestly can't remember the context and soon parted ways when they delivered my check.

I’m glad Julie Andrews is still with us. She’s given us so many wonderful performances and she sounds genuinely awesome to talk to.
I wish the best for her in life. What an awesome person she is.

The movie THAT SPECIAL NIGHT, with James Garner. In it, you scooped peanut butter, the jar sitting on your nighttable. I was humored watching that scene. I also have my own personal peanut butter jar that I scoop out when needed.
