Judas Priest FINALLY do it? Faithkeepers 2026 Predictions

Metal Pilgrim | July 23, 2026

Judas Priest are about to kick off one of the most anticipated, and definitely one of the most intriguing and mysterious tours of 2026.

So today, let’s take a look at what Judas Priest will most likely do, and what they definitely will not do on the band’s upcoming 2026 Faithkeepers tour. Here you go!

Now, first of all, because of the tour’s title, many fans naturally assume that it might be yet another retrospective tour similar to the one Judas Priest did last year, including myself at first, only this time concentrating on the band’s legendary Defenders of the Faith album. Which, by the way, I, for the record, would absolutely not mind, as it is absolutely no secret that Defenders of the Faith is actually my absolute favorite Judas Priest record.

But running a little bit ahead of myself here, no, it will not be such a tour. And I actually had a rather extensive chat with Richie Faulkner in one of our latest interviews on this channel about this tour, among other things, which you should check out if you haven’t seen it yet after watching this video. And he did confirm that the Faithkeepers tour will not concentrate on any specific record, and instead celebrate the entire legacy of Judas Priest. Which on one hand seems like a pretty amazing thing, but on the other, makes pretty much any predictions about which songs they will and will not play almost impossible to make, simply because of how many albums and songs this band has after 56 year of existence.

But we will try nevertheless.

Judas Priest has horrible management and marketing. It has now been half a year since the documentary was released and we still get no news on a dvd or streaming release. Moreover, this new sad wings of destiny rerelease is only available to european fans who attend the faitkeepers tour. Scrrw their american fans.

Ah, it breaks my heart we'll not hear a lot from Defenders! I hope that we'll be there in Torwar, Warsaw, and hear at least couple of those. See you there on Tuesday!

I dont see priest not playing any painkiller for future tours since its so popular, however robs voice is getting older. But for something different I hope they play Between the Hammer and the Anvil more often.

    Sorry dude but,
    Who gives a crap????
When I was about 9, I discovered PRIEST and it took a year or so to get into them since I was exposed to all types of other GREAT music from YES and ELP to, BEATLES, THE WHO and LED ZEP, etc…
I hate to beat a dead horse 🐎 is the fact that this is no longer JUDAS PRIEST due to the fact that two of the 3 crucial elements of PRIEST are NOT there. The RIFF MASTERS which wrote the unique and intense material including but not limited to your FAVORITE album, DEFENDERS, which incidentally is as GREAT as any album they made, EXCEPT for the BRILLIANT and WAY overlooked NOSTRADAMUS😮..
I hope 🙏 you understand that some of us " JUDAS PRIEST purists" cannot fathom at least KK being back , in which he was SNUBBED [ another holy shit moment of ROB and IAN🤔😶]
You and I have a lot in common but, I don't accept this FAULKNER driven and led PRIEST as you do..
    BTW,
SNEAP is NO TIPTON, nor is FAULKNER 😢
FAULKNER could have stepped in as TIPTON'S replacement and a year[ or less] of KK transitioning back would have been a SUBLIME experience 🤔😁🖖

To be fair rob halford have been in Judas priest since the early 70s and he is getting up there in age. Maybe he won't be able to sing this song anymore. It is a very difficult song to sing and to play.

    Night Crawler
    Blood Red Skies
    Breaking the Law
    The Hellion/Electric Eye
    Painkiller
    Jawbreaker
    Panic Attack
    Victim of Changes
    Metal Gods
    Hell Bent for Leather
    You've Got Another Thing Coming
    Freewheel Burning

I'm hoping for Diamonds and Rust. And yeah, The Sentinel and Jawbreaker would be great. Night Comes Down is one of my favourites but I doubt they will play it. If that was a Defenders of the Faith tour, it might have got a chance, but now I can't see it happening.

I hope Priests will play Rock you all around the world – great vibe, and the Richie's interpretation of the solo would be interesting and very energetic! I cannot wait till 2nd august to see Gods of Metal in Ostrava, 4th time in my life 🤘

6 – Beyond the Realms of Death
    7 – Diamonds and Rust
    8 – Turbo Lover
    9 – Prelude/Tyrant
    10 – The Sentinel
    11 – Isle of Domination
    12 – The Hellion/Electric Eye
    13 – Ram It Down

Really looking forward to seeing them at Hammersmith in September as I've loved the other two shows I've seen from them and Hammersmith itself is such an iconic venue and it's going to be my first time there
