It was great to have this one collective set of works as the only option for everyone to see we used to call "the T.V." Like Jay Leno. He was on the T.V.

Now that we live with millions of intersecting "T.V."s, there is no such thing left anymore as "that thing everybody saw last night."

It's like everyone has their own talk show we call social media and the only thing they can relate to in unison is talking about Samsung or Sony, because that's what it says on the gizmos that do this. Rest is alienating.

Only people profiting from this are the tech companies. If you wanted to make "the T.V." again, where would you market it?

Privacy is a luxury few people can afford now and it used to be free. 😊 That distance between people would be amazing to have again but it starts at home.

It needs to be objectively hard to know anything about each other and it isn't. For $20 I can get a list of anybody's address, relatives, email, phone numbers. For $2000 I can get a live drone feed of them in their house. Rest is free. Their favorite foods, what time they go to bed, who they date, their medical history all at the tip of my fingertips.

I can't do this with some buildings. Usually these buildings are square and black and they perform government functions. Why can't we all have that sort of privacy? The price tag.

For the average person it's too expensive to privacy-proof your house, transportation, and everything else. Glass houses for all.

I like Jo Firestone's voice and the way she speaks and enunciates. I wish she was a little less self deprecating because I don't know if she believes it or not and I think she is delightful.

Literally everything she says is funny because she's serious and has the complete opposite perspective of what is funny for her. The easy fix is for her MB to direct her show, not change a word, or delivery and just say absolutely everything she doesn't think is funny and she will slay and MB will be her biggest fan. Which is exactly how this episode is going 30 min in. This conversation, removing all of Mike's dialogue, would be a great comedy special.

I love this interview. I love this podcast. That being said, I don't think that there is any reason to continue announcing the "slow round." I humbly suggest that you just keep asking questions and don't announce it.
