As a focus puller what a LIBERATION to hear that the rushed against the sunset kissing scene that could get only 2 takes and probably no rehearsal was just 2 choices between "totally out of focus" or "half out of focus" and still made millions of spectators have chills. Nowadays some set expect you to pull perfect focus as if you where an autofocus machine without giving any time for rehearsals, marks, you go on full blind, not even knowing where the actor is gonna walk, lens wide open, and they act chocked that the focus is not there, knowing THIS SCENE is out of focus brings me so much peace 🤣😅

The way he combined the action elements of Terminator with the horror elements of Alien was just pure perfection and even though Ridley Scott created that franchise, i believe that James Cameron made the ultimate blueprint for every Alien movie after Aliens.

There’s no way they’ll remake 5. Look at the setting and enemies. Infected African like people? Lmao. No way. Africa has real life huge problems with infectious diseases, there’s just no way. Not with the state of the world with cancel culture and people being very easily offended. 5 was definitely a game of its time. The only way they’ll remake 5 is if they significantly change the setting and story.
