The other Simpsons SNES game like that was Virtual Bart and it skipped Hub World entirely, you go directly to a randomly selected mini-game.

This is supposed to be James, not the AVGN, right? Why are they so intentionally obtuse? A lot of the game mechanics are really cool like building the bar with the Zs and the various interactions in the hub world. It's not automatically bad because it's different.

I love how Mike went through tons of tons of nearly incoherent rambling about the convoluted gameplay all while James stayed mostly silent and in end his only contribution was "It looks like 13arts nightmare" and Mike sounded genuinely interested when he saw it
