Common market and more geopolitic power is nice, the very problem here is that the EU is being used to impulse political agendas from institutions ultra far away from citizens' control. It's ok to have free movement of people and capital across countries, but that has little to nothing to do with gifting money to random countries in expenditure programs that enhance corruption.
The EU isn't democratic at all, which is a problem, but the real and big issue here is that it can decide over stuff that it shouldn't be allowed to decide. All those regulations and global goals that they impose haven't been voted by none but themselves, and the results we are experiencing are that Europe becomes less rich, relevant and free day after day. Because of the terrible incentives its humongous bureoucracy creates it may be no longer possible to reform it (as far as I know, the mechanisms for it don't even exist), which means that in the future we may be forced to decide between leaving or stay in not because of the benefits of these ways, but because of its disadvantages, which I believe will be much greater for those who stay.
If things don't change dramatically, which seems to be very unlikely to happen, the UE will have to disappiear sooner or later.

My dream for EU: put money into making internet and digital infrastructures and systems. We cannot rely on USA when they are turning against democracy. We need our own google, Facebook and Microsoft. Furthermore I wish EU to start more factories. China is really taking a lead with battery and electronics factories to name a few. And with chinas more and more ambitions in the world arena it is also bad to be dependent on them as well.
