I'm a woman and I spent my whole life being told shit like I should pitch something to Netflix or do anything at all where I can use this gift I apparently have of being so funny. Yeah I'm the funny girl.
But unless this gift comes with a dick, it's f**** useless. I'm not going to go up on stage somewhere telling jokes wearing my vagina, that's a joke in itself.
It's not that women aren't funny and it's not that they shouldn't do comedy, it just feels like they're very misplaced and this is coming from someone who would have loved to been a comedian. I just feel uncomfortable about it. S*** I can't even watch female comedians. I always get that secondhand hit of embarrassment. You know like watching the football fanatic girl acting like she's just one of the boys and it's just hard to watch.

Anyway . I do respect the women that go up there and do it anyway. I mean I'm still not going to watch their shows but you know hats off.

I think it’s easier for females to find female comedians funny only because we can relate more often to what they are saying, but I’ll admit that I don’t find them nearly as funny as male comedians. Maybe men don’t find it super funny due to the masculine energy that comes from a female comedian. Most of the time they are talking about vulgar things or using crass language just like male comedians do. I’ve learned that most men find that unattractive and are put off by women who act like that. I don’t know I could be completely wrong.

Women just generally aren’t funny. And only a few men truly are. Comedians are a rare breed. Being a comedian isn’t just about telling jokes — that’s the ‘doing’, and it’s the technical aspect. The ‘being’ a comedian is far more transcendent. Think Norm
Macdonald or Don Rickles or Richard Pryor or George Carlin or Robin Williams or Redd Foxx. Their energy was dynamic, compelling even when they weren’t telling jokes: they were just funny.

    Wxmen aren't fxnny

Women are attracted to funny. Men aren't. That's why men are good at it. Modern whiners are trying to pretend that it is something more than their undeveloped skill a big hidden prejudice. If you go on stage and YOU are funny, that's the whole story. If you're funny you're funny. Wxmen are not.

I think the title of the video answers itself. Only females are really wondering if comedy is a male dominated occupation. Too many female comics feel that they're not more popular because they're female comics and that men discredit their humor because they're women. I think the truth is that men don't find female comedians funny because too much of their humor is slated towards women and not just a general audience. This wouldn't even be a problem for men, but those same female comedians think that men should find those jokes funny. When men don't find them funny, the female comedians like to think it's simply because they're women in a male dominated field. Men on the other hand don't really care if you laugh at their jokes, and their humor is kind of slated towards everyone.

I have found across the board that groups of men don’t listen to women period. Comedy or whatever. I hate the toxic feminism shit that hates men but forreal I hate being in groups of men because they never let me get a word in, and if I try to make jokes along with them they don’t laugh as hard as they do when their buddies make a joke (that I think is objectively dumber). I’ve worked on farms where I was the only girl and it’s so annoying, they make you feel invisible. I was in a big group of guys with two of my girlfriends once and they were having this interesting conversation and every time we tried to butt in with our opinions, someone would talk over us, to the point where we were like “HEY CAN YOU GUYS STOP MANSPLAINING FOR A SECOND OR SHOULD WE JUST LEAVE?” And men notoriously believe female comics aren’t as funny.
    The internalized sexism is real

I was involved in stand up scenes for 10 years. It's like AA for people who have a hard time maturing past Middle School. Only 1 out of every 80 people who do it have any talent.

It's because women only have 2 jokes:
Combining two real words into one cheesey one. …and…
"My vagina…" (Objectifying themselves or men, and continuing the lie to young women that older single women are happy)
