I would LOVE to know what decisions led to the drums sounding like they do. Was it the pursuit of a lo-fi aestheitc? A error with tracking?

Yeah, I don't get what they were thinking either.
It doesn't sound retro, it just sounds worse.
Here's me hoping this was just a one time experiment, atlhough Fine Mess isn't giving me that impression.
Some of the songs are still absolute bangers though.
