I recently came across an account that literally holds the artist's name hostage via DM. Literally every post says "DM me for artist credit." And somehow people still follow this person as if they aren't the absolute worst.

This is exactly why I never have and never will deal with social media other than YouTube, and even then the comment section is not something I focus on much when surfing YT. Just from my roommate and coworkers forcefully showing me their phone with random crap on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok I know how scary accurate this video is.
