   I think what could've been a funny bit is if, at the end, instead of just forgetting about all the money, the friend goes "uhhhh" and we get a flashback of him and apple at a casino or a bar or something and they're both high/drunk as hell and he gambles all the money, runs out, and gets them both kicked out and apple is super mad (revealing that that's the "incident" and it happened a few weeks prior) and then he lies and said he forgot. Or smth.

    What gets me is the way MGK doesn’t know what a self tape is. God why is he doing IMPRESSIONS in his self tape!?!? You don’t do 50 different impressions in a self tape!!! Whoever you’re auditioning for gives you sides (a piece of the script) for you to act out. You introduce yourself (slate), act out your sides (maybe have a friend off screen reading the other lines), and done. Weren’t there ANY actors in the room when he wrote this??? Isn’t he IN the industry????

    To all the people in the comments talking about how she wrote that in an afternoon: The "script" she js "wrote" isn't actually a "script", it's an outline, like a rough lil plot summary, read real scripts and you'll know, so the thing abt you writing that in an afternoon doesn't mean much (not to mention you already had a template). And like half the problems she talked abt in the last vid is how the dialogue's weird and awkward wasn't "fixed". Btw im a screenwriter, dont ask me abt how "i think i know it but i really don't". And no, i haven't heak of MGK before she talked abt him. And i rly like this video, i agree with the changes, i like Gabi.

    I bet hardly anyone comments on your ad reads in videos, but I'd like to say the biggest things keeping me from doing YouTube videos are actually more stuff like my disabilities causing fatigue and limited time/energy to make videos, the lack of money to buy specific things for setup that I need, and gender dysphoria. However, I actually did buy Wondershare Filmora years ago to edit videos, before my disabilities were as bad and I knew I was trans, and it was cool to find out you use it to! I agree that it is really user friendly, and if I ever do YouTube again, the reminder that it's gonna be easier to edit with it than I keep dreading is comforting. Thanks for sharing about that 🙂

    When you revealed that the whole kidnapping and ransom plot was actually just meant to be a working interview for the Batman role in the B plot, I got goosebumps and chills. I loved this so much and really wish it were real.

    When MGK breaks the fourth wall at the end and is upset, he could be like, "What? That's what this was all about? Why didn't my character just call the police? This is so f'ing stupid!" As he walks away. "Then at least I'd get to kiss the girl.." Referencing how Becky G's character breaks up with his at the end. She could do it because she's so fed up with being fake kidnapped, when she had plans to go to a cool party that evening, and because when she asks MGK how HE got the money to pay the ransom, he admits to breaking her famous grandfather's urn and stealing the money he hid that should have been HERS.

    Just an idea tho

    Also love the idea that Dove Cameron's character and the pink haired chick have a thing spark between them in the movie, that would be cute and count towards LGBTQ+ rep that's casual and realistic. Though, it's not bad either that they just have a lesbian friend character in this movie that's there and hot but not hot for the guys or there to be a token gay or to get clout for including gay romance. Like, it just seems to exist. Correct me if I'm wrong, tho, I haven't watched the movie and, despite being LGBTQ+ myself, I didn't pay that close attention to everything that was said about the character. Like, that's not why I chose to watch the video or kept watching it.
