Two reasons Egg likes Dunk so much. Firstly he was the first person in his life who treated him like someone who wasn't royalty. Then after Dunk had taken him on as his squire and found out he was a Prince of House Targaryen he still treated Egg like he always had before.

I completely agree about the episode time seeming so short, even though that’s not a bad thing. I decided to go back and watch HOTD S2 for the first time after watching this show and I vividly remember in episode 3 or 4 checking to see how far into the episode I was and it wasn’t even one third of the way done. Every AKOTSK episode absolutely flew by, so refreshing

2:24 first season was good* second season was buns besides Rook's Rest and E1 and 2 and the dragon pit sequence with the bastards(though the visual spectacle carries that episode not the writing)
