Hi Friends,

This week I wanted to share my thoughts on the lunch lady who stole over a million dollars in chicken wings and was caught. Lunch ladies don’t get enough credit and have to make due with some of the worst ingredients depending on the school. I remember growing up and having very few choices, if any, at lunch. There was pizza day, turkey, chicken or meatloaf sometimes. There was a mystery meat every once in a while and it’s easy to see why schools have welcomed fast food restaurants into their schools such as Wendy’s, McDonald’s, Burger King, and Arby’s just to name a few.

The fact that lunch ladies have to order all of the food within budget, cook it to taste for hundreds if not thousands of kids, and do it with a smile is quite a load of work that is mostly thankless.

I also talk about 911 getting extra pay for showing up to work.

If you love my stories I have a podcast that comes out every week: https://bit.ly/3NQmpio

Growing up kinda poor, when we would bake a whole chicken, I remember cracking open the chicken bones to suck the marrow out, chewing on the ligaments and tendons to get everything edible off them, and really relishing that bit of cartilage between the leg and thigh bones, the kidney that would sometimes be stuck to the thigh. Of course we’d fight over the neck and giblets… and all that is basically what chicken nuggets are made from, ground up, breaded, and fried.

The woman that couldn't stfu for the entire show like everybody paid to come see her…
She ruined this performance and recording to be honest.
If you can't shut up for 5 minutes…. if you can't stand anybody talking but you… DON'T GO TO A COMEDY SHOW YOU IDIOT!
This is not a discussion. This performer puts a lot of work and preperation into this, and these stupid, entitled people think it's a discussion…. a dialog. It's NOT!
He talks. You shut up and listen. No exceptions.
This goes for the rest of you too.

8:18 It has to be something to do with the quality of their job training and evaluation because this is so rare that it's largely unheard of in the UK (the operators tend to be fast paced, can trace calls and act on minimal details; all whilst having the utmost calming and understanding demeanour) whereas there are too many recorded/worrying cases in the US where the caller or person called for died and it could've been easily avoided if the operator hadn't wasted time/become impatient, rude, ignorant and/or unbothered about just how sensitive people in dangerous situations can be (“Ma’am, if you yell at me one more time, I can’t help you”… they’re yelling in panic/shock not “at you” doofus)!

I would go hello 911 and never say hello is this 911 and I say yes we're sending an officer your way and they're like no I don't need an officer I need an ambulance and I'd be like okay well we're sending an ambulance your way ,,,,next 😂😮 but really why else are you calling that okay maybe a fire truck 🚒😮🙏 hang on while I redirect your call to the fire department 🏬 lol the way I look at it easiest way out just send them oh but then wait a minute what does that do to the amount that are on forced working oh wait a minute they're supposed to be able to take care of this so I'm just sending them anyway haha LOL 😂🫠🧸🌹🌄🎨 📚📚🙏❤️‍🔥

I worked 17 yrs as a police dispatcher which included 911 police emergencies. We were paid the same as a simple clerical staff employee but we had to change our schedule every 4 weeks, work weekends and holidays covering 8:004:00 or 4:0012:00. We got extra on the night shift, weekends, triple time on holidays. We also had to monitor the jail cells and yes, we do have stories, especially after 17 years.

Liddell ordered more than 11,000 cases of wings and other food, using the school district's accounts, and has since been sentenced to nine years in prison.

Who: Vera Liddell, the food service director for Harvey School District 152.

did you know though that every year Buffalo wild wings will give you six wings for your birthday so that means these people are willing to give out up to 2 billion wings a year

It's BS they can't trace the call. My brother and I were fighting as kids once and I dialed 911. He had a knife and the last thing the operator heard was, "Put down the knife" before my brother disconnected the call. (He pushed down the buttons for the reciever.)

Police showed up at the door. We lived in a 15 story apartmenr building.

They can trace the calls. Smh.

No one should be able to get that many years for stealing FOOD. I don’t care if it wasn’t out of need it just doesn’t make sense, it’s excessive and it goes against criminal law principles
