How to Go From YouTube to Hollywood

I have my own dream to make a TV show that I thought was out of reach until I saw this video. If I could only get like an interview with a few Nebula creators I think I could pitch something worthwhile

Nebula is rad as hell tbc, but dropouts been proving this somewhat tbh (specifically the entertainment and bridge to Hollywood part)

I still think about this video sometimes. I think Nebula is a terrific service, I'm excited to see one of the youtubers I grew up watching going on to make bigger, better, more personal art, but I couldn't help but feel the takeaway from this video was that instead of

1. Make stuff on YouTube
2. ?????
3. Get noticed by Hollywood

There's a totally new, revolutionary method to realizing your ambitions as a creator that goes

It’s called create a mental illness then everyone will feel bad for you enough that they let you write a bad movie

I am not sure a bridge from youtube to hollywood is a good thing.

If ANYONE had told me that Nebula was basically communist Netflix I would have signed in a long time ago

I think i have heard about nebula before. I watched this incredibly informative documentary on the sikhi history. It was extremely impressive and then he said he made it for a platform that you described and mentioned a forever payment and cheap monthly payment. Sounds like nebula is going to be huge and amazing quality if its the same thing.

Hey Abby, how do you break into Nebula? What's the process? Obviously I'm small and don't have material fit for the platform yet, but some years down the line I'd love to be able to get a video essay on there someday. Do you pitch to them? Maybe I should hang back and consider applying to be part of their editor squad… Everything about Nebula's existence is so inspiring, I'd love to add value to the service someday just because there's so much cool stuff there already. Congrats on the movie! That's such a huge accomplishment
