This is a documentary series made for educational purposes with the intention of shedding light on victims and their stories. Stories in which we can all learn lessons from and use to help make the internet a safer place for all of us.

In the case of Adesech Sadik (the hanging woman), her struggle highlights the very real issues happening throughout the world due to something called the Kafala System. This exploitative practice takes advantage of poor migrant workers in so many countries, with Adesech’s story being far from the only account. And whereas her story did have a happy ending, this sadly is not always the case with workers in similar positions. For more information please see the following link: https://www.cfr.org/backgrounder/what-kafala-system

In the case of luoxiaomaomaozi, her story is a cautionary tale about harassment and cyberbullying across the web. And a strong reminder that even though you are talking to someone online, you are still talking to a real person. Sadly, she never found the help she needed but there are people out there in all of our lives who can help prevent anything like this happening again. Friends, family, guidance counselors, therapists, teachers, neighbors, all could be there to help if you need it. And in the event that none of these are available, or if you feel like you need more help then they can offer, reach out to one of the hotlines found in your country (FIND ABOVE)

    The Kuwait incident is a video I have seen before. It is one tragic example of a much larger global issue about the abuse that people from Africa and Asia who go to work in Middle Eastern countries as maids and labourers face. It's been a well-reported issue in my country, Sri Lanka, because so many people from here go to work in the Middle East, including someone I know, and end up having their passports taken, being barely paid or not at all, and getting beaten and abused. This is an extremely common issue that, unfortunately, barely gets talked about.

    My uncle got in a drunk driving accident and lost his eyes and lots of the bone structure around that area and he use to say he was the best drunk driver too. I hate drunk driving and the drivers

    I really hate how cruel and disgusting we've become with the internet being a place of animosity.. These are real people, real lives. And we encourage death and suicide? Whoever does this kind of thing should be abhorrently ashamed of themselves.

    20:33 I know this is an old video, but there was more to the story on this one. I happened to see another video about this case, that included a lot of evidence, because if I remember correctly, the person who made the video is married to a woman that was able to facilitate translation. The chat didn’t turn on her, because they were never on her side to begin with. It’s reported that more than half of those present at the livestream were fans and supporters of said ex-boyfriend. Lua made the live in hopes of getting her ex’s attention. She had started dating him not for his follower count (which was nowhere near hers) but for him as a person. She then gave him tips on how to also grow his platform, until his following reached over a million. That’s when he ditched Lua. There’s a lot of info too long for a comment but the guy basically cheated on her a lot, even Lua had gotten pregnant but the ex was adamant she was the one cheating and refused to do a paternity test. Lua then terminated the pregnancy. The guy spread misinformation online about her being unfaithful, when it was truly him who got the fame up in his head as soon as things started to look too good for him.

    For those wondering what happened to Jayana Webb after she killed two state troopers and the pedestrian who was detained by the two state troopers, Webb pleaded guilty to three counts of 3rd degree murder, three counts of homicide through vehicle while driving under the influence, and one count of driving while under the influence and was sentenced in Late November of 2023 to serve 27 and a half to 50 years in prison. However, because she was pregnant during her sentencing, she didn’t start serving her prison sentence until March 21st, 2024.

    People = Shit!

    Of all countries I would want to live or visit the least is China! And Im not saying that chinese people are shit, because a lot of them are clearly very good people, but the system of how things are done there simply make my blood boil! Everything about that country bothers me. Everything! Remember that Chinese tiktok user who was doing urbex and discovered entire pool of decaying children in some old dilapidated factory basement!? Yeah things like that! People are really good there, but the system and ignorance of others can make some very good people go insane and mad, so mad in fact that the only way they figured they can let all their frustrations out is driving their car at full speed in to crowded places. That happens nearly every day now in China. Its a form of protest. People cant stand living there anymore. Under fully corrupt and dishonest government and with so many others who just dont care about anything, as long as their own house is in order and belly full. Those who are the part of the system in some way. I have subscribed to laowhy and serpentZA, they lived in china long enough to know it so well they now speak fluent mandarin, and every time I watch their videos, I'm upset at the treatment of the CCP towards their own people, and how those who are advantaged take advantage of those who are disadvantaged. Russia is a nasty place too. Number 2 on my list that I will never again have anything good to say about. Rant over. End.

    Sadly there's also a lot of trafficking of North Korean women and girls into Chinese villages 😔 for many of them, that's their only way of escaping North Korea, but then end up as essentially slaves in those villages. They don't know the language, and can't ask the authorities for help because they might be returned to NK…

    The second video is about an Ethiopian woman. Arab nations fool African people by promising them work under good conditions just to take their passports and use them as slaves. Arabs have a terrible view of black people

    That crane story. It's sad and I think people can guess what I'm thinking about it. The first thing is "another victim to tiktok" and the second I'll leave to the imagination.
