How the British Monarchy Has Survived For So Long
It’s a 1,200-year-old institution that has weathered wars, disease, and everything in between. But why has the British monarchy survived when so many others have faltered? The modern British monarchy can trace its roots back centuries, to the period when the island of Great Britain was a collection of disparate kingdoms in England, Scotland, and Wales. That changed over time, as these kingdoms consolidated into a single monarchy.
Why does the British monarchy still exist?

Nepotism at its very best. They managed to convince an entire nation to forever support the most expensive welfare recipients and consider it a privilege and an honor while the nation struggles to survive in a middling class environment. How many billions have they given them already ?

The problem with monarchy is that the only qualification is birth so at some point it throws up somebody totally unsuitable and there’s no way of removing them.

Longer answer: propaganda of the kind North Korea could only dream of.

The British are used to being taxed insanely badly. We Americans didn't stand for that! We call it no taxation without representation, that's why we no longer live under a dictatorship.

The British monarchy died a very long time ago. the one you see for centuries is just a "Display" or a "Pretend" monarchy.
it died when its subjects got a taste of power and overturned their overlords.

I like the monarchy since they ensure the unity of the country, and the heir is already trained in early age. However, what I don't like about the monarchy is the budget allocation where it includes other members of the royal family and all of them are exempted from taxes. If I could create/reform a monarchy, budget allocation would be limited to the Monarch, the spouse, and the heir (where they are also forbidden to exercise profession), and they are also be subject to taxation. The palace should be publicly owned, and the budget would not extend to the Monarch's other properties.

2:22 That's William 2 not William 3, easy mistake if you're doing a quick google search and get the wrong picture, but it's pretty funny knowing how different they are and are separated by about 600 years. That William is from proper medieval England, literally the son of William the Conqueror.

If Oliver Cromwell had not been such a total tyrant that the English decided a king was preferable to the likes of him they might not have restored the monarchy in 1660.
so the question you could be asking is " why the English monarchy was abolished so soon, ahead of EVERY other European monarchy"

Prince Charles wasn’t king because when a man married a Queen or Princess he got the male equivalent of her titles, so he would have had the same amount of power as her and he used to be apart of a foreign monarchy. Queen Mary I had been happy to give power to her husband King Philip II of Spain, and Queen Elizabeth I didn’t get married, and Mary II and her husband had a joint ruling, so Queen Elizabeth II chose to name him as a Prince of the UK the was with Queen Victoria.

I'm Canadian, and I see the royals as nothing more than the British Kardashians. I don't think anyone 30 and under here gives a single shit about them, but our boomer and gen x moms sure tend to like them. I find it very strange to have the Queen's (soon to be the King's?) head on our coins and our $20 bill, however, the royal family constitutionally and economically ties us to the Commonwealth. I love that we are so far apart from Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, yet we still share a sort of shared consciousness. Of course, we are also allowed to remain very critical of the system without the threat of heads rolling. They're a big part of Canadian identity, despite being mostly an afterthought for everyone here. It's weird.

Jesus is indeed Lucifer the Morning Star, which is why Isaiah 14:12 lists Lucifer as the Morning Star and then Jesus calls himself the Morning Star in Rev 22:16. The reason Christians fail to see the obvious is because they are brainwashed by their churches into reading the Bible BACKWARDS and reading the New Testament BEFORE the Old Testament. We read books from FRONT TO BACK for a reason, and that is because you can't possibly understand the end of a book that you don't understand the beginning of. And it is not even possible to fully understand a book from reading the LAST QUARTER of it. With that being said…—-> Adam and Eve were NOT first, and the 2 stories of Creation in Genesis are NOT about the same Creation as the Christian church teaches. GOD makes people on the 6th day of Creation in Genesis 1:26. Then in Genesis chapter 2 God rests, God sanctifies the 7th day, and then the LORD God of Israel creates Adam and Eve on the 7th day of Creation. To work on the 7th day that God has blessed and sanctified is BLASPHEMY, which is what makes the LORD God SATAN the LORD of this world. That also makes clear that Adam and Eve were NOT FIRST, they were made second. Doesn't the 6th day of Creation come BEFORE the 7th day of Creation?—-> The family lineage that begins with Adam and ends with Jesus is the family lineage made by SATAN the LORD God, not God. That's why Isaiah 14:12 lists Lucifer as the Morning Star, and then Jesus calls himself the Morning Star in Rev 22:16. Jesus was Lucifer in the flesh, not God in the flesh. Jesus is Lucifer the Morning Star! Go to my channel for more details…
That NEW WORLD Order that Alex Jones and other GOP Christians pretend to fight is really the goal of Christianity otherwise known as the NEW EARTH (Isaiah 65:17, Isaiah 66:22, 2 Peter 3:13, Rev 21:1) to be ruled by the New Jerusalem. The New Earth is where the nations are destroyed and massed together for a world government that will be on the shoulders of Jesus. Well, isn't the New World Order a world government as well? And gee, New Earth even sounds exactly like New World, doesn't it? That is not a coincidence, the New Earth is indeed the New World Order. It's all right there in your NEW WORLD Translation Bible if you actually bothered to read it…

There are European monarchies in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Monaco, Spain and Liechtenstein. Some of these have lasted as long as the British Monarchy, yet nobody posts about how it's unbelievable that these countries still haven't become republics. Well, maybe Spain, but that's because of stupidly living large by certain royals and for fuzzy nostalgia for the Second Republic.

The monarch actually does possess significant power. He is the ultimate backstop against a rogue PM. In 2019 QEII did that twice. She did it so adeptly no one really realized it.
And not one penny of tax money goes to the monarch. The monarch is funded entirely from the Crown Estate. And the doubling of expenses referenced is because the income generated from the Crown Estate grew. The monarch only gets a fraction of that income, BTW.
