Well he had a great script for this video. He didn't mention any great animators at Digital Domain but didn't forget to mention Tom Holland, after watching life after pi documentary. I hate big name studios and actors. They are insecure, Digital Domain artists are so talented they can make the whole movie without real Tom holland, we won't even notice. He didn't even mention Nuke, the legendry software DD created but after 5 minutes Tom, who was paid millions but the team who brought it to life worry about their job security.

I think we get to a point, instead of actors acting, itโ€™s all made up, in video games, where the cut scenes in video games are actually real but you get to play them and watch some cut scenes or live through the movie? I donโ€™t know something along those lines. Where movies actually become the video games is what iโ€™m trying to say.

The guy has skill but I still wish he used more practical effects. No matter what he says, it just feels different when everything is cg and the more they do practical, the better.

I'm pretty sure this is why the CGI looks so bad in recent films, it's because they use it so often that they can't put in the same love and care into every shot and they have to compromise the quality for the quantity. (Just my opinion)

I'm sorry to say that your VFX on the bridge scenes and some other areas weren't realistic enough, considering the production year's available technology and potential.
