Thanks for watching! I’ve loved watching the rise of Lil Nas X and Old Town Road. It’s a catchy, entertaining song with a fascinating story behind it. Then, the Old Town Road remix with Billy Ray Cyrus comes out and changes everything. But could this song spark a revolution in the streaming world?

One interesting effect of this system I've noticed is on the They Might Be Giants song "Fingertips". It's basically a song of songs, packing 21 short songs into the ~5 minutes of the track's runtime. Now, on the original release of the album, due to shuffle being the hot new feature of the time, all 21 songs were separate tracks. It was also that way on Apple Music originally, but somewhat recently it was changed to only have the combined version, and I bet this monetization stuff is why (since I assume Apple Music doesn't want to be paying 21x the normal rate)
